Mobile Crit

Loic Tallon, Senior Mobile Producer, The Metropolitan Museum of Art
Peter Samis, Associate Curator of Interpretive Media, San Francisco Museum of Modern Art
Sandy Goldberg, sgscripts,

The always-popular Mobile Crit Room returns! As before, conference attendees are invited to propose their mobile projects for review in the lead-up to the conference, and in the first days of the conference. To propose your project, leave a comment on this page. We will confirm the projects that will be covered in the Mobile Crit Room 24 hrs ahead of time and circulate that information throughout the conference.

Along with their proposition to have their project discussed in the Mobile Crit, participants can submit specific questions and/or issues/problems they’d like the panelists to address. Panelists will address projects as broadly as possible: including user experience/usability, content, appropriateness of tone/style/design, marketing/outreach etc.

Participants will present a casual 5-minute introduction to their project so people in the room understand the scope, the challenges, and the perceived successes and not-so-much-successes. The Mobile Crit will have an atmosphere of openness and fun (with prizes!) along with concrete suggestions from the panelists.

  1. We would greatly appreciate your critique of the Hearst Castle iPhone [] or Android [] app.
